LEGAL DISCLOSURE & LIABILITY WAIVER

Lone Star Revisions - Pressure Washing and Contractor Services

This Legal Disclosure and Liability Waiver ("Agreement") is entered into between the Client/Property Owner ("Client") and Lone Star Revisions ("Contractor") for the purpose of providing professional pressure washing and contracting services.

 

  1. Scope of Work: Contractor shall perform pressure washing services as requested by the Client. Services may include cleaning of, but are not limited to, the following surfaces and materials: Concrete (including driveways, walkways, patios), brick/concrete (Driveways and walkways), wood paneling and wood decks, vinyl siding, any painted surfaces, stucco, roof shingles, windows and window frames, window/door screens, window coverings, awnings, fences or gates, and any other surfaces as specified in the service agreement written or verbal.

  2.  Assumption of Risk by Client: The Client understands and agrees that while the Contractor uses the utmost care and industry best practices during the cleaning process, pressure washing inherently carries risks of damage, particularly on aged, deteriorated, improperly installed, or previously compromised surfaces or materials. Client acknowledges that the following may occur as a result of pressure washing, and accepts full responsibility: chipping, peeling, or removal of paint or coatings, dislodging of loose materials or debris. Water intrusion through windows, doors, or cracks. Cracking or etching of delicate materials. Disturbance or damage to already-loose shingles, siding, screens, or hardware, minor surface scarring or discoloration on vulnerable surfaces

  3. Client Authorization: By signing and or approving the work in any form, client confirms full authorization to allow work to be performed on the property. Full understanding and acceptance of potential risks as outlined in this agreement. Responsibility for ensuring all windows are closed, and fragile and or loose items removed from the service areas. Client takes full responsibility for any pre-existing issues not caused by the Contractor.

  4. Limitation of Liability: Contractor shall not be held liable for any pre-existing conditions, including loose siding, chipped paint, deteriorated/aged/crumbling concrete or brick, damaged screens, or deteriorated shingles. Damage arising from normal wear and tear or inherent fragility of the surfaces being cleaned. Water penetration due to existing structural weaknesses. Damage to landscaping or surrounding areas unless due to gross negligence.

  5. Contractor Commitment: The contractor agrees to use the utmost care, caution, and industry-standard techniques during all services. Inspect surfaces for vulnerability when possible and advise the Client of any visible concerns. Avoid unnecessarily aggressive pressure on sensitive surfaces. Use appropriate equipment, detergents, and pressure settings for each surface type.

  6. Hold Harmless Clause: Client agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Lone Star Revisions, its employees, agents, and subcontractors from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from the performance of services, except in cases of proven gross negligence or willful misconduct. By approving the service, either verbally, electronically (by email or text), or in writing.
